2. What type of services can I find on Kidsential?

We currently offer:

3. How much does Kidsential costs?

Registering an account with Kidsential is completely free! You only pay for the services you book through our platform.

4. How do I get started?

(a) Register your free Kidsential account here.


(b) Once logged in, click the ‘Search’ icon and select your service preferences.

 

(c) Review nanny/therapist profiles that match your preferences or click ‘Edit Search’ to change service preferences.


(d) Click ‘Check Availability’ to arrange an interview* or select your service date for the desired postnatal treatment package.

(e) Once submitted, you can track the status of your request under ‘View My Bookings’ under the ‘Created’ tab.

 

If the requested provider is unavailable, our customer service team will be in touch with you via WhatsApp to assist on your request. 

 

If you are unable to find a provider that suits your service preferences, click ‘Request Admin Assistance’ or contact via WhatsApp and our team will be in touch with you within 24 hours.

5. Are there any other hidden costs?

You only need to pay for the services you would like to book. There are also additional charges displayed upfront on the provider’s profile. 

 

Kidsential will prepare the necessary contractual documents to ensure mutual understanding of the payment terms and commitments.

6. I’m interested in promoting my services! How do I register with Kidsential as a provider?

Are you a confinement/postnatal therapist who is looking to earn more new clients? Join us now as a provider to start promoting your services on our platform and to boost your income!

7. Given the rise in Covid-19 cases, what are the SOPs for the providers registered on Kidsential?

All providers registered on the Kidsential platform follow KKM/CDC self evaluation guidelines to check for symptoms. Our service SOP strictly says providers must inform our admin team if they have symptoms or were in close or secondary contacts with any red zone locales, infection clusters or persons diagnosed. We declare a mandatory 14-day rest-period for such cases. 

 

We also encourage all providers to get vaccinated and register for the present vaccination drive. Some of them are already vaccinated, while others are in the process of being vaccinated or still waiting to get a vaccination slot.

8. How can we know that the provider’s free from Covid-19?

We encourage parents to request for their appointed provider to perform swab tests at the nearest clinic, 10 – 14 days before the service start date. Alternatively, parents can also arrange for rapid test kits to be performed which is readily available in the market.

 

All providers registered on the Kidsential platform follow KKM/CDC self-evaluation guidelines to check for symptoms. In the event your requested confinement nanny is unable to report for work before your service date, we will do our best to find you a replacement nanny for free to help ensure your confinement service starts on time. If we are unable to deliver a replacement, you will be given a full refund.

In the event you want to replace the requested nanny after she has started the service, we will do our best to help find a replacement nanny for a minimal fee.  If we are unable to find a replacement that fits your requirements, your balance payment will be prorated based on the number of days worked.

Several factors such as certification, years of working experience, mandatory referral checks, and mum recommendations, are taken into account by our trust & safety team during the pre-screening process.

7. Does the nanny’s package rate include cooking ingredients and/or herbs?

No, it is not included in the package rate. We encourage you to request an interview with the preferred CN to discuss the details of your dietary requirements so that she can propose a list of ingredients that can suit your needs.

8. I am looking for a confinement nanny in Singapore. Do I have to apply for the CN’s work permit and social visit pass?

Yes, you will need to apply for your requested CN’s work permit and social visit pass directly with the Ministry of Manpower (MOM). Please check MOM’s website for the latest updates: https://www.mom.gov.sg/eservices/services/check-and-pay-levy

9. How do I extend my confinement nanny’s services?

Please inform us 2 weeks before your service’s end date via email hello@kidsential.co or reach out to us via WhatsApp to inquire on your service extension.

Postnatal Massage & Treatments FAQs

1. Are the postnatal massage therapists on your platform certified?

Yes, we only accept therapists who are trained and certified to conduct postnatal treatments for postpartum mums. Factors such as certification, years of working experience, mandatory referral checks, and mum recommendations, are taken into account by our trust & safety team during the pre-screening process.

2. When is the best time for a postnatal massage if I had a Cesarean delivery?

We recommend new mums to opt for postnatal massage and/or treatments 3 weeks after the delivery. Your requested therapist will also be able to advise the right time frame, safe techniques and positioning based on your maternal condition. More importantly, the best time is when you feel ready and comfortable to try the service.

3. When should postpartum mums / in-home clients book an appointment?

We recommend booking an appointment 3 days in advance in order for us to arrange the therapist’s schedule.

4. What are the payment terms?

The deposit payment shall be made to Kidsential to confirm the requested postnatal therapist.

The balance payment will be paid directly to the postnatal therapist on the first day before the service starts.

5. Can I cancel or postpone my appointment?

Please reach out to our customer service team to inquire about rescheduling your appointment to a later date. 

 

Please note that we do not accept cancellations. The deposit for this service is non-refundable.

6. I have to reschedule my appointment. Are there penalty charges for last minute cancellations?

There are no penalty charges for last minute cancellations. Please reach out to our customer service team in advance (minimum 1 working day) to inquire about rescheduling your appointment to a later date.

If the service is cancelled on the day of the appointment, transportation charges may incur if your therapist is already on the way to your location.

7. Can I wear Bengkung (belly binder) after my Cesarean delivery?

Postnatal therapists normally recommend Bengkung for when post-delivery stitches are fully healed which usually takes about 2 weeks.
